When Philadelphia was the brewing capital of the world back in the late 1800s, there were over 400 beer breweries operating in and around Philly! One of the best, and one of the few to survive thru Prohibition, was F.A. Poth & Son, which occupied a huge complex at 31st & Jefferson on the fringe of Strawberry Mansion. It was acclaimed as "the beer without peer." Cheers to Poth's!
