As the Big Sam Reed Orchestra was wailing you could feel the beat in your feet as the best national and local soul performers dazzled on stage. This vintage handbill, now recreated on a fashionable tee, recalls the show when Jackie Wilson, The Marvelettes, The Isley Brothers, Patti LaBelle, The Impressions, Martha & The Vandellas and more rocked the joint for a buck-fifty price of admission.
