The rock scene in Philly really began to take off in the late 60s when The Trauma was the premier rock room, located in a commercial section of town at 2121 Arch Street. Promoter Manny Rubin broke many of the hot new acts--none hotter at the time than Mike Bloomfield's Electric Flag who played to capacity two nights in March 1967.
