If you grew up in and around Philly remember when the greatest trip was to Kiddie City, Ponnock's Toys, Lit's Enchanted Village, Gimbel's Toyland or any of the other great toy stores in the area!  Back before attention deficit disorder the best way to keep a "stimulated child" occupied was with the incredible Slinky.  All you needed was a step or higher surface and Slinky could amuse you for hours.  You could also juggle it, flip it like a yo-yo or do amazing tricks.  Well, it seemed amusing when we were 8 years old.  Our retro slinky is still made of metal and its packed in the same old style boxes as in 1945.  What a classic.  It's Slinky..It's Slinky...It's Slinky...
