Long before McDonald's and Wendy's and Burger King hit the scene the fast feeders in Philly were Horn & Hardart and Linton's. It seemed like no two were alike--there were coffee shops, fountains, grills, sit down restaurants, automats--but the food was consistently edible and cheap.
