It was a beautiful Tuesday night on the 23rd of September in 1952 when Philly's own Jersey Joe battled the original Italian Stallion Rocky Marciano for the World's Heavyweight Championship in front of over 30,000 frenzied fans at the old Municipal Stadium at Broad & Pattison. Joe lost the title to Rocky by getting knocked out in the 13th round. Yo, Adrian!!!!
