Remember when Sodamat was the best bargain on the AC boardwalk. Located down by the old Breakers and St Charles hotels, the Sodamat was an open oasis with tiled walls lined with soda dispensers, and for a nickel you'd hold your cup under the faucet and choose from any one of dozens of flavors. Ours was sarsaparilla.
