Frank Palumbo was the King of Clubs back in the 40s, 50s and 60s, and in addition to his famous South Philly Palumbo's Nightclub, The CR Club and some other joints uptown, his first and most famous was The Click at 15th & Market. Philly was a celebrity magnet back then and anybody who was anybody—film stars, musicians, pro athletes, politicians, wise guys and personalities—made it a point to pick The Click for a night out.
