One of the greatest days in Philadelphia history was on a blustery cold Monday afternoon, December 26th at Franklin Field, where the underdog Eagles pulled out a 17-13 victory over the Packers for the NFL championship. Vince Lombardi and his boys couldn't hold back Buck Shaw's birds, led by Norm Van Brocklin, Tommy MacDonald, Pete Retzlaff, Billy Ray Barnes, Ted Dean and Concrete Cholly, Chuck Bednarik.
