The West Philadelphia neighborhood of "49th Street" actually stretched from 48th to 52nd, Baltimore to Girard, and boasted some of the best street corner singing back in the 50s and 60s. One of the best was Frankie Lafaro, former lead singer of The Fashions, who put together a group of friends to lay down tracks in a studio as a tribute to the old neighborhood! Selections include:

Vintage Wanamaker's Toyland Monorail Tee
If you're a Philly kid of a certain age you probably remember the great department stores down town that were magical around the holidays. Lit's had the Enchanted Village. Gimbel's had a great toy land. But Wanamker's was the best, with a monorail that transported you high above their huge Toyland on the 8th floor. Those were the days, kiddies! Color: Hollyish.
