Description

For a magical two years the Philadelphia Stars were the best team in town. Representing Philly in the upstart USFL football league, GM Carl Peterson and coach Jim Mora, put together a rag tag team and rode the strong throwing arm of Chuck Fusina, the rinning skills of Kelvin Bryant, and the grit of Sam Mills, Sean Landeta and Scott Fitzke to the league championship game on 1983. Although they lost they came back better than ever in the spring of 84 and went 16-2 on their way to the league championship. By 1985, league hotshot Donald Trump, got other owners to go along with competing against the NFL in the fall and the Stars had to move to Baltimore. It didn't last long. The league folded in 1986. But those of us who remember will never forget those high flying Philly Stars! Color: Ash
Our tees are preshrunk 100% ringspun cotton
