TV dance shows were the big scene back in the 60s and one of the biggest was broadcast live every Saturday afternoon on WCAU-TV from beautiful downtown Upper Darby--Lit Brothers! And the host with the most was none other than the Geator with the heater, the boss with the hot sauce, Jerry Blavat. Discophonic Scene had it all--the dancers with the big hairdos, the lip-synching singers and groups, all the latest dances and the rapid patter of our discophonic leader, The Geator. Those were great days!
