There were clubs up and down 52nd Street, but the biggest and best during the 40s and 50s was Club Harlem at 52nd & Haverford. Owner Stan Cooper brought in all the best acts of the day, from Ella and The Duke to Stan Kenton and Nat King Cole.This handsomely restored poster is from a 1949 appearance featuring the Bird Charlie Parker and His All-Stars. 12 x 18
