Description

Few places across the country had the pizzazz of Skinny's D'Amato's legendary 500 Club in Atlantic City back in the late 40s and into the early 60s. The cocktail lounge and showbar on Missouri Avenue off of Pacific hosted the swellest guys and dolls, the top jazz bands of the day and all the best cabaret acts. It's known as the place where Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis got their start, and the Rat Pack of Frank Sinatra, Dino & Sammy finished out the glory years by the mid 60s. We won't see anything quite like "The Five" again!
