Remember the Atlantic City boards back in the day, when there were lots of shady shops that your parents didn't want you to patronize? Lewis' Artist Village was one of those places! Located down by Steel Pier, Lewis's was a haven for beatnik artists who were trying to make a few bucks by drawing caricatures in charcoal. That was okay, but they smoked these funny looking and smelly cigarettes, wore black berets, sandals with socks and sported goatees...even some of the girls. Weird place!
