Was there a better time back in the day than Sunday afternoons with the yon teens & The Geator With The Heater at the old Wagner Ballroom on North Broad up in Olney. All the cool kids from all the old schools represented and danced to the hottest platters. It was where the Wagner Walk was created and the Slop, the Jerk, The Fly, the Mashed Potato, the Stomp and more took over the floor. And you could always count on The Boss With The Hot Sauce to bring in a friend or two, like Billy & The Essentials, Billy Harner, Solomon Burke, the Four J's, just about any top recording artist in or around Philly. Those were the days!
