Long before the Iggles, this pro football team started playing in neighborhood football leagues in the late 1800s and have several reincarnations until becoming the Philadelphia Eagles in the original NFL. The glory years for the Jackets were 1924-1931, when they rivaled UPenn for the hearts of Philly football fans.
