Description

Out of the thousands of shows and performers showcased at the legendary Steel Pier during its illustrious history, none measured up to Ricky Nelson's appearance at the Pier on Friday, August 31, 1958--not even Sinatra! Thousands of kids were lined up along the boardwalk, waiting for the chance to go into the Marine Ballroom to see television's teen heartthrob! What a time it was.
