Not everybody hit the famous Camac Street shvitz for a rub and a steam and an ice cold shower. Countless men of all ages courted all comrades on the handball courts, where familial lineage or friendly ties didn't matter when it came to playing the angles and smacking the little ball past the eyes of the competition. Some of the older players could hardly stand up straight but once they stepped onto the court they played like young warriors. The Camac was the fountain of youth for several generations and sorely missed!
