All the kids from West Philly, Upper Darby and beyond knew where the big dances were way back in the 50s, St. Alice's off of Copely Road. The gym was packed with teen guys and gals with raging hormones dancing up a storm under the watchful eyes of the sideline Sisters. Usually a top jock like The Geator was on hand to spin all the platters.
