Description

Billie Holiday was at her prime in November 1948 when she appeared at the old Ciro's Nightclub owned by Frank Palumbo & Ben Corson. The nightspot at 15th & Walnut was one of the several places Lady Day performed at while in Philly, others included Pep's, The Earle, The Showboat and Emerson's Cafe, but she was also busted twice for drug possession while in town, which was a sad chapter in her turbulent career. Available in two sizes, 12x18 ($22) and 16x24 ($32).
