It all started in the 1963-64 NBA when, when the Syracuse Nationals moved down to Philly and became the Philadelphia 76ers. Led by player coach Dolph Schayes, the 76ers featured a roster of such savvy vets as Hal Greer, Larry Costello, Dave Gambee, Connie Dierking and Chet The Jet Walker. It was the beginning of what would quickly become the greatest team in the NBA!
