Going to grade school was a big responsibility for some kids back in the day. Remember the classroom banker, whose job it was to collect your weekly deposits and then pass them on to the local PSFS branch manager so they could update your personal bank books? Some students--not to mention any names--would use the deposit money and go deposit it at the corner candy store for wax lips and red licorice strings rather than turn it over to the classroom banker. We're still here, even if PSFS isn't.
