The joint was jammin in '54 when 'Trane was blowin' the horn, Philly Joe was beatin' the skins, Red was ticklin' the ivories and Paul was pluckin' the bass at the old Blue Note Jazz Club in North Philadelphia. Back in the day Philly was pretty hot on the jazz scene, with joints like Pep's, The Showboat, Red Hill Inn, Cadillac Club, Spider Kelly's and the Blue Note hosting the biggest names, from Dizzy to Lady B. Can you did it? We knew that you could!
