Back in the late 50s and early 60s Philly's biggest stage shows were presented live at the old Arena at 45th & Market, right next to the old WFIL-TV Bandstand studios. Top jock Jocko would invite the cool cats and kitties from the Rocket Ship to these great live shows, like the Platters in 57. What a time it was.
